Georgian general appointed NATO Afghanistan mission deputy chief of staff

Brigadier General Nikoloz Janjgava, who serves as First Deputy Chief of Georgian Defence Forces, will be appointed Deputy Chief of Staff Security Assistance (DCOS SA) in NATO's Resolute Support peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defence of Georgia said on Friday. The Deputy Chief of Defence of Georgian Armed Forces will hold this post during a year. Before departure, General Nikoloz Janjgava met with the Georgian Defence Minister. The meeting was attended by the Chief of Defence Forces, Lieutenant-General Vladimer Chachibaia.
